NMs galore

I'd have to say that today was a very productive day.

With my recent taken interest to blm, I've started to look into all the cool gear I want in order to be very pimpin'. So I started out by camping Centurio X-I. Popped into Quicksand Caves around noon and just started slaughtering everything in the pop area while timing the PH. An hour goes by, nothing. Two hours.. still no ant. Close to the 3 hour mark, this bish pops and I go to town. Yup now I have a very sexy blm.

Next, an NM had spawned on a friend who was leveling bst in Onzozo. So I go beat up Peg Powler. I was worried for a couple, it hit a lot harder than I thought it would and I hadn't buffed prior to engaging. I had 300HP at one point before I got control of the situation, haha. Got that silly great axe with a funny name.

While I was camping Centurio, the ??? for the antican tag to pop the tungi NM popped by me and I grabbed it. I didn't really have much interest in the axe myself, as bst is already far from at level, but someone in my linkshell asked if I'd help with it and I said sure. He went to check for a tag but it wasn't up, so we just used the one I had. I solo'd it with my awesome redmageness and got the tungi. Grats Jojojo.

After that I idled for awhile, then went to bug my bsty friend in Onzozo again. Peg Powler popped again, haha. But before I could get to it someone else claimed it and beat it down.

I'm trying my best at the moment to level beastmaster as fast as possible to 75. For anyone who'd just think not having to wait for a party would mean this would be fast is wrong.

The most I've been able to do so far is 20k exp in one day. And that was with an empress band charge, and two anniversary ring charges. So I only technically made like 17k. And I didn't die at all during that.

I've figured from all my deaths and home points there's probably a level or two in there. That's actually pretty depressing to think about. But in roughly the last week I've gone from 65 to 67, which isn't bad, I suppose, but I know people who get that in a couple days with "normal" parties.

Who wants to party anyway.. bleh!

I also did the solo ENM "Pulling the Strings" in Mine Shaft #### as beastmaster as well. I realized I was really unprepared when I got up there and didn't want to do back to get supplies, so went in anyway. Everything went smoothly up until the puppet called his second pet, I used rampage slightly prematurely and got hit for a lot, which had me worried, but my pet and I ended up pulling through and win. :)

On impulse I got a party as a bard, and went from 61 to almost 63, then got the rest of the exp I needed to get 63 in a couple besieges.

I did some assaults, nothing exciting there. Still PSC. Did some dynamis, got duelist's hands and Beaucidine win. My sky LS attempted Kirin, gave up there. Tried out Einherjar, died there.

Long time, no bloggin

You'd think after a couple months of not updating I'd have a lot to say. Well, I don't! Other than I'm an idiot and deleted most of my screen shots. Yeah, for real. And I didn't even realize it until like a week later, and then I was a really sad panda.

Anyhow, I'm a leader of my sky shell Divinity and that's been working out pretty well. They still drive me absolutely crazy sometimes. Most of the time.. But we're going good. We've been discussing with another group with them merging into us and that has me a little nervous, even though it's gone pretty well. I'm paranoid though, what can I say. I'll leave details out.

I'd post all the drops we've gotten sense the last time I've updated but I'm lazy and it'd take forever. We got our shells first two b.haidate one right after another though which was fantanbulous.

Noteworthy gear I've gotten since last time would be my noble's, cleric's briault, warlock boots, bard's roundlet, melee gaiters, and some other stuff probably. My dynamis shell Encore has been good to me and I love them all!

I finished CoP. Yeah I figured that'd be worth mentioning. I got my Raja's Ring, and while it might be the best choice out of the three, I'm still kinda in doubt it was the best choice for me, seeing as how I'm all magey and stuff. I am leveling thief though, and beastmaster could definitely get some mileage out of it, so I doubt it was a bad choice. I just don't have much use for it right now and that makes me kinda...sad.

And speaking of jobs leveled, this is what I've done since the little update on the side bar thing:

I think I leveled some other ones but who cares about those, I sure don't (and I can't even remember right now so...). And yes, that is my ninja going from 37 to 36, not a typo. And yes I am still kinda pissed about it. Also when it is again 37, I am never touching it until I have a desire to take it to higher levels. Which is never.

A friend of mine got me hooked on monk so I kinda zerged it as much as possible for awhile, but then I realized I couldn't go any farther because of this bitch named Kirata. Seriously you stupid tiger, give me my fucking cesti.

Another friend of mine got me hooked on thief, and seriously I never thought it'd be so fun. Oooh my god I love pulling. Well pulling was the reason why I even started to level bard so there's no surprise for me there. I've got a little static going with my thief and my friend's samurai, so I only get to level it like every 4 days and then it depends on what other in game stuff we have going on. It works out most of the time.

Bard's been stalemated though at 61 because I hate people.

I started to level warrior just for subjob purposes. I subbed dragoon and used a great axe, it was great. I got sturmwind and then I was like STUUURMWIIIND and I made the evil onions die. However, I'm still only leveling it for subjob purposes and have no real desire to take it to 75.

Although while I'm leveling melee jobs to try and get away from the mage ones, it's not like I'm ever going to be asked to take one of them to an LS event or anything, considering we ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS need more mages.

Number 2

Well, I've finally done it. It's taken awhile, but I finally have RDM to 75. Now I'll start seriously concentrating on merits. ^^

And in case anyone wonders, BRD is next, with BST on the side for when BRD drives me insane.

Bringing down the sky

I enjoy sky. To some people, that's a crazy concept, but I really do like it. I don't mind camping Ullikummi. If it means I get to fight gods, then fine, whatever, I want to do it. And really that's what I look forward to. I want to fight gods. I love my shell (mostly) and it's nice to start with something from the beginning and watch it evolve. We started out barely making it through Genbu, and now we've taken down 3 of the 4 gods, Byakko being the only one we haven't been able to touch, but not because we can't, we just haven't had the opportunity. And we've been at Ulli nonstop lately with not much luck. I'd like express that I am REALLY proud of the shell. I can't be there all the time, but I am there when I can be. You all are magnificent. :)

Tonight we started off with a Genbu pop. We did great -- no deaths, fast, probably the best Genbu yet. I really don't know how many Genbu's we've done now, but a lot.I won the shield and the feet. Congrats to Ezd on the a.head :)

After Genbu, we went on to try our first Seiryu. I have to say it went really well. We got to watch a shell (I don't remember which now) that got there before us do it twice, and I think it really prepared us and gave us some confidence. I know there was a lot of doubts floating around beforehand. It also popped my stun gun cherry. :) There wasn't a lot of deaths, and we rose victorious.Congrats to Isollde on the w.hands. Sorry but I completely can't remember who got the sword and kote. (/ \)

I also finally decided to to use my three merits. I was going to wait until RDM was 75 to use them, but WHM needs some loving too. And sense I hate Protecta/Shellra V...

Goals

Having a static is nice. It gives you the ability to plan things, making it easier to achieve a goal. Not that it's impossible to reach a goal without the help of a set group, but it makes it so much easier.

Well, sometimes.

I happened to have met a great group of people while partying on my RDM. They made partying incredibly fun. We formed a little static. It ended up being that we only ended up exping for a couple of hours one night. For some of us, that wasn't fast enough. Essentially because the experience needed to level up at these levels is ridiculous that a couple hours just wasn't satisfying. Especially considering I want 75 as fast as possible. However, it was fun, and I'm sure that this isn't the end of everything. I have plans to get to 75 this weekend though, and the lowest level member was still 68-69 (I really can't remember now). Partying with people you enjoy being around is one of the best experiences in this game.

However, I did wish I would have had a static for my dark knight. I managed to get 31-32 on Saturday, 32-35 on Sunday, and 35-37 today. It took a little longer than I would have liked (I really would have liked to be finished over the weekend.), but it's done. My goal of being a stun gun is GO. :)

Next step will be finishing the last 1000 exp on my ninja to get to 37. Oh and getting Utsusemi: Ni.

This weekend my CoP static also started. Unfortunately, we started back at promies, but I'm not complaining much. I'd really like to go to see. Oh, and a Raja's Ring would be very nice. We got through Mea and Dem on Sunday, with just a minor set back on Dem, with plans to do Holla on Thursday. We normally run on Sundays, but because we didn't get all the promies done, we're finishing Thursday, and on Sunday we're doing 2-3.

It's a good group, we'll be in sea at no time.

Soloing

I've been hardcore leveling RDM over the weekends. I've really wanted to have a Lv.75 RDM for awhile now. I want to try to solo a lot of things. Well, not try, really solo and win. Not because I have something to prove; I know it's been done before. I just want to do it just because I can.

List of stuff to attempt in no particular order:

• Genbu
• Fenrir
• Shadow Lord (just because it looks fun)
• All of the avatars (probably pretty easy, but I want to do it anyway)
• Charybdis
• Hakutaku
• Bune
  

That's all I can think of right now. I don't even know how likely some of those are.

What it comes down to, really, is that I'm a thrill seeker. I love intense fights, epic battles, etc. That's pretty much my idea of fun.

Well, tonight ended with me getting 74 RDM. After getting 74, I decided it'd be grand if I leveled DRK a bit.
Only 5 more levels left. Just 5 more. Only 5 more.
